Lounge

THE Lounge is our interview column.

People find lounges to relax, chat, work, etc. But why not do those at home? Perhaps because we look for temporary escapes from home. The idea emerged when Hannah and I both couldn’t return home last year, so we went to the lounge in Hannah’s building. We talked, brought wine and drank out of mugs. We went there so much that the lounge became THE Lounge, an inside joke, an icon, a shelter. Sometimes we need a change of scene. Also people do chat at lounges, so I think it’s fitting for the interview column.
